Our Story

FloVision Solutions was founded in 2020 by Rian Mc Donnell and Elise Weimholt with a mission to reduce food industry greenhouse gas emissions by tackling food waste.

The company launched with a solution for cafeterias, using AI and computer vision to provide analytics on food waste, preparation inefficiencies, and quality control.

Recognizing a critical need for this technology in meat production, FloVision Solutions pivoted from their cafeteria focus to develop systems for meat processors. By 2023, FloVision Pro and FloVision Nano were installed with meat processors globally, and the team continues to help food processors increase yield, quality, and profits while reducing their environmental impact.
